How to make fondue?

I dont ahve a fondue pot or w/e. I am having a picnic without any outlets..how do i keep the chocolate warm and not solidified?How to make fondue?
The only thing I can thing of is to set your pot over a lit candle or sit your pot over a heating pad turned on low. That will put out enough heat to keep the chocolate melted but not burned. It may be warm enough outside though that you may not need to use either of these.How to make fondue?
They make fondue pots that can be kept warm by some flame(candle). If you don't want to do that then you need to get a caterer's setup that consists of sterno, a metal pan and the wire frame that holds the pan. Put water in the metal pan, put the pot in it and light the sterno. Keeps warm without burning. If you have a camper's stove, use a double boiler and put the chocolate in the top pot and water in the bottom and set the flame very low.
