What to use with fondue? :}?

I got a fondue pot thing for my birthday! I've never had fondue, but i've always wanted to. Im planning on using it with chocolate for my party saturday, but i have nooo clue what type of food to eat with it ( you know, dip into the chocolate) what should i get? What to use with fondue? :}?
Fruit, potato chips, pretzels, cut up pound cake mm
You have to be able to stab it with the little harpoon thing, and if it is melty...use a quick dipping motion. Also size, nothing smaller than an inch or so when prepared in a cube or ball. Other than that, really use your imagination.

You can use bananas, strawberries, mandarin oranges, cubes of pound cake, marshmallows (a large marshmellow is the PERFECT size for anything dipped in any fondue!), candy bar pieces (like fun size cut in half), hostess or little debbie pieces, brownie pieces, brach's caramels, oreo cakesters,

You can also make fondue out of cheese, use Emmenthaler Swiss for a creamy base, and flavor with other kinds of cheese. Use it to dip chunks of hearty bread like sourdough, or cubes of sausage, or apples, or vegetables. What to use with fondue? :}?
A variety of foods lend themselves to being dunked in warm melted chocolate and as long as they are cut into bite size bits you can go a bit crazy, a few of my favourite choices are: fresh fruits: strawberries, grapes, apples, bannanas, pineapple, figs, if your lucky enough to have fresh apricots they are fantastic, if not dried fruits are a great alternative. I also love to use whole macadamia nuts.

You can also use almond bread, marshmallows, jube lollies, or small cakes and sweet breads that are firm enough not to dissolve in the chocolate.

I hope this helps.

theres all kinds of things!!!

You got your fruits...

strawberries, banana, cherries..

then there are your dry products

pretzels (i prefer the pretzel sticks!), pieces that you rip off a hawaiin loaf bread (found at walmart in the bakery section) or french bread bits.

Marshmallows

Angel food cake cut in cubes

Chunks of fresh fruit- Melons, pineapple, berries are especially good for dipping.

Pretzels (Large knots or rods)
