Please Help! Fondue pot as double broiler?

i am trying to make peppermint bark and i realized i do not have a double broiler or a glass bowl to make one...can i use a fondue pot to melt the chocolate and mix the peppermint extract and whipping cream? Please and Thankyou!Please Help! Fondue pot as double broiler?
You could use a fondue pot. You can also use any two pots that will fit inside each other. The top pot doesn't have to fit exactly, it can even be in the water.
It should work. You can also carefully melt the chocolate in a microwave oven. I prefer this method over any other method available.Please Help! Fondue pot as double broiler?
A microwave would probably work a lot better - just be careful not to overcook the chocolate. Start out with 45 seconds or a minute, then stir thoroughly and microwave in 20 second bursts until it's completely melted.
